The CARLA 3D Parking Map project involves creating a realistic, multi-level (at least three floors) parking garage environment for the CARLA simulator, complete with ramps, entrances, exits, and at least 50 numbered parking spots per level. The map must include various stall types (perpendicular, angled, parallel), restricted spaces (EV, disabled, reserved, etc.), directional signage, crosswalks, elevators, pay stations, and props for realism. Deliverables include a packaged CARLA-compatible map (.umap, .fbx, .xodr), preview renders, and JSON metadata mapping each parking spot’s attributes, routes, and semantic labels. The environment should support occupancy detection, clear driving directions, and proper collision meshes, while following CARLA’s semantic tagging conventions and maintaining technical compatibility with CARLA and RoadRunner. Ability to code in addition to ability to 3D model is key.
