There are over 4 million nurses in the United States that spend $8b annually in out-of-pocket expenses for their gear and resources. As nurses ourselves, we have been frustrated by how difficult it is to find everything we need, from the perfect brand of scrubs to additional shifts at a local hospital. That’s why we’ve brought everything nurses need into one digital platform. With Lumify, nurses can buy their gear, find new jobs, trade advice, manage continuing education, and more. Lumify launched our first product in early 2021, and we’ve since grown our user base to 20,000 nurses who work at over 400 hospitals. Now, we're looking to build beyond our MVP into a V2 platform that unifies everything frontline healthcare workers need into one digital ecosystem, beginning with an online community forum and hub of Lumify partners. We're looking to hire a full-stack software engineer to help us build our digital platform (that goes along with our iOS app).
