Can I communicate with clients outside the project or interview channel?
As per the LD Talent terms of service you cannot, unless told otherwise in your Slack 'lde' by LD Talent staff (this will be the case for full-time employment referrals only). You can only communicate with LD Talent client inside of the project or interview channel, not through direct messages, email, etc. This is to ensure that all project communication is in one place and so that LD Talent can support you throughout the development process.
Stick to the number of hours and don't talk about budget / money / $ dollars as we give clients free credits and other perks / services so we handle the financial aspects. If they ask about finances, you can point them to us.
LD Talent takes a transparent 20% (with min of $5) cut because it spends a considerable amount of funds to invest in the recruitment, lifelong education, and financial incentives for skill development of its talent, as well as on funding free trials for clients while still compensating talent. So, we ask that talent and clients comply with our platform's guidelines so that we can continue to invest in our talent and provide them with matches to interesting and engaging projects and opportunities.
